ADA Paratransit Service
Greeley Evans Transit (GET) provides ADA paratransit service for individuals who are unable to use the fixed-route bus system due to a disability. Service is available within ¾ mile of GET’s fixed routes.
Service Hours:
- Monday - Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 6:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Paratransit service is operated by VIA Mobility Services (VIA) on behalf of GET.
Eligibility
You may be eligible for ADA paratransit service if:
- You are unable to independently board, ride, or navigate the fixed-route system due to a disability, or
- You are prevented from using fixed-route service due to a specific condition or barrier
Eligibility is determined through an application process.
How to Apply
To apply for ADA paratransit service:
- Complete an application that must be completed by both you and your health care provider
- Participate in an eligibility review (if required)
After a complete application is received, a letter will be sent to outlining your eligibility status. Applications are available through the following methods:

Scheduling a Ride
All trips must be scheduled in advance through VIA.
- Trips may be reserved up to 14 days in advance and no later than the day before your trip.
- Scheduling hours:
- Monday— Friday : 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:00 a.m.– 4:00 p.m.
- Same-day scheduling may be available, depending on vehicle availability.
- Trips are scheduled on a shared-ride basis, meaning the vehicle may stop to pick up or drop off other passengers before reaching your destination.
- Please be ready 30 minutes before your scheduled pickup window. Drivers will wait up to 5 minutes after arriving.
- If you need to cancel your trip, please call 970-350-9290 as soon as possible so the ride can be offered to another rider. Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before your scheduled ride.
- Excessive “NO SHOWS” may result in temporary suspension of service according to GET policy.

Fares
- $3.00 per trip
Rider Guidelines
To ensure reliable service for all riders:
- Be ready at the start of your pickup window
- Cancel trips as early as possible if you no longer need them
- Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in service suspension
Service Animals and Mobility Devices
- Service animals are welcome on all paratransit vehicles
- Mobility devices (wheelchairs and scooters) are accommodated in accordance with ADA requirements
Useful Information
- A personal care attendant (PCA) may ride with a paratransit rider if the rider is unable to travel independently. Riders must request a PCA when applying for service.
- Eligible riders may travel with one guest. When scheduling a trip, please inform the dispatcher of a guest will be accompanying you. The guest fare is the same as the ADA rider fare.
- Riders may bring up to four bags.

In accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the City of Greeley does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national origin in the administration of its program.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, the City of Greeley does not discriminate on the basis of disability.
