Introduced Ordinances

Prior to adoption, a piece of legislation, or ordinance, must be introduced at any regular or special meeting of the City Council. Pursuant to Sec. 3-17 of the Greeley Home Rule Charter, if an ordinance is approved on first introduction, it will be published in full, with notice given with that publication of the day, hour and place the Council will hold a public hearing on the ordinance before its passage.

All introduced ordinances can be found in the City Council agenda materials located online in the City Meetings Portal.

Comments and questions can be emailed to the City Clerk’s Office up to and through the meeting times or in writing via U.S. Postal service to the City Clerk’s Office and must be received by the day of the meeting.

Citizens can also participate in the virtual meeting by accessing the link provided on the first page of the agenda found on the City Meetings Portal. All written comments and questions will be entered into the official record.
