The City of Greeley is warning residents about a state-wide scam impacting permit applicants. Scammers are sending fake invoices and threatening fines, pretending to be local governments.
On November 3, the City of Greeley received 20 additional pages of signatures in an effort to cure the insufficiency for their referendum petition to repeal Ordinance 30, 2025. The City Clerk’s Office processed and reviewed the submitted signatures, resulting in a total of 4,888 valid signatures.
Xcel Energy is currently assessing the potential for a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) in neighboring communities that could impact the Greeley area on Wednesday, December 17.
