Our community is home to one of the most celebrated municipal water supplies in the nation and was rated "Best of the Best" in the 2017 American Water Works Association water taste test competition. Greeley also received the People’s Choice Award, making us the first city ever to win both honors in the same year. This award-winning water quality makes Greeley well suited for water-dependent industries like food and beverage production.  

Beyond quality, Greeley has secured long-term water reliability through forward-thinking investment. The Terry Ranch Pipeline is a forward-thinking infrastructure investment that guarantees access to nearly two million acre-feet of drought-resistant groundwater for businesses and residents, even as Greeley’s demands for water increase over the years. In addition, Greeley is home to the Chimney Hollow Reservoir, the largest reservoir to be built in the U.S. this century. Together, these efforts ensure the resiliency and affordability of our water supply for decades to come.
