CNE Creative Enterprises, a product development and consulting company, has been part of the Greeley community for more than two decades. Owned and led by Eric Fitzsimons, a long‑time resident who takes pride in calling Greeley home, the company works quietly behind the scenes, shaping businesses and supporting local entrepreneurs without seeking the spotlight.

Often described as a “ghost company” CNE Creative operates largely behind the scenes. They help build, guide and elevate businesses, yet many people trying to look them up may not find much about them online. That’s by design. Much of their work is not publicly showcased and performed under strict NDA agreements. They’ve never relied on advertising or visibility to succeed. For Eric and his team, business has always come organically through relationships, trust, and long‑standing community connections working with core customers for decades at a time.

Eric’s commitment to Greeley extends far beyond his company. He is deeply involved in supporting entrepreneurs and developing youth, dedicating his time and energy to helping shape the next generation. Serving on eight educational advisory boards, he plays an active role in ensuring students have opportunities to discover their interests and paths within the workforce.

One of the most unique examples of this commitment is the hydroponics internship he developed for local students. Inside the CNE Creative office, students maintain a thriving hydroponic growing system, gaining hands‑on experience in agriculture, sustainability and business operations. The internship blends classroom learning with real‑world skills, giving students a chance to explore careers in emerging fields while contributing to a living, growing project. CNE Creative has hosted 96 student internships over the last decade and a half with a new cohort of 5 electrical, mechanical and software engineering students starting right after spring break.

While Eric is best known for leading CNE Creative Enterprises, his contributions to the community go far beyond business development. He is a mentor, an innovator, and a strong advocate for creating opportunities that help Greeley’s youth, and the community as a whole, thrive.
