Be a Good Neighbor, Follow the Code!

The Code Compliance Department helps keep Greeley’s neighborhoods safe, healthy, and well-maintained. Our inspectors educate residents and businesses, respond to concerns, and enforce Municipal Code standards related to private property conditions— including zoning, health and safety, sanitation, parking and vehicles, weeds and landscaping, and other environmental issues.

We prioritize education and voluntary compliance, partnering with property owners to correct issues and preserve the quality and character of our community. When necessary, formal enforcement ensures that private properties remain safe and meet minimum code requirements.

Learn more about how Code Compliance works by viewing the compliance process here, and explore the sections below for information on specific topics.
