Two Men Killed in East Greeley Traffic Accident
GREELEY, Colo. – On Thursday, February 13, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Greeley Police officers responded to a traffic accident with injuries in the 3400 block of East 8th Street. The initial investigation reveals that a Chevrolet truck was traveling westbound on E. 8th Street when it collided head-on with a Dodge 3500, which was traveling eastbound.
Each vehicle had single occupants who were extricated from their trucks and transported to local hospitals.
Both drivers, a 60-year-old man and a 66-year-old man succumbed to their injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation. No further information will be released today.
