GreeleyCO.gov, a New Website Built for You

Welcome to the new City of Greeley website. We are currently in a soft launch and are continuing to improve the upgraded site. Thank you for your patience as we work through the final stages of development.

Enjoy the Outdoors

There are numerous ways to enjoy the great outdoors throughout Greeley’s park system including playgrounds, athletic fields, picnic areas, paths and more.

Whether you are looking for the spot for a pick-up soccer game, a picnic, or a playground, the options for finding the perfect park are plentiful around town.

Many of our playgrounds have restroom facilities available May 1st through September 30th (weather permitting).

Reservations for the 2025 season (May 1 - Sept. 30) will be accepted starting January 2, 2025. Online reservations can be completed at mygreeleyrec.com or in person by visiting the front desk at the Family FunPlex or downtown Recreation Center.

Purchase a Memorial Bench or Commemorative Tree

The City of Greeley offers the opportunity to apply for the purchase of a memorial bench or commemorative tree. Cost of these items vary and are subject to approval by the parks division. For complete information on the program, contact us for a copy of the Memorial Bench and Commemorative Tree application.

Park Planning

Each year the City of Greeley looks at its park spaces to determine the best ways to improve outdoor recreational areas throughout the community.

Management of the parks includes annual reviews of park playgrounds, shelters and more to measure level of use and age and evaluate needed renovations.

Playgrounds, shelters, and amenities are evaluated for their age and level of use, and each year, several parks throughout the system undergo renovations or improvements.

This City of Greeley has a full-time planner who develops long and short-term strategic plans to complement both the city’s Parks Master Plan and Trails Master Plan.

Seasonal Employment

A seasonal job with the Parks division involves customer service, building and irrigation maintenance, small construction projects, groundskeeping, sports field upkeep, forestry and cemetery operations.

Employment with the division includes safety and equipment training, plus experience in special event and sports tournament management.

Hiring for seasonal positions opens in February for positions that run from March through October.
