Teenager killed in shooting
GREELEY, Colo. – On Monday, April 21, at approximately 7:00pm, police responded to the Sunlight Townhomes in the 500 block of 16th Street, where it was reported a 14-year-old had been shot and was unresponsive. The unresponsive juvenile was later pronounced deceased. Additional individuals were contacted and interviewed as part of the investigation. Another juvenile suspect was arrested and booked on related charges. This was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community at this time. The names of the victim, suspect and witnesses are being withheld due to their age. All charges are merely an accusation, and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
