Single Vehicle Motorcycle Accident Results in One Fatality

**FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE #23G007784** May 23, 2023 Kent Keller, PIO Greeley Police Department (970) 351-5387, Desk Kent.Keller@greeleypd.com Single Vehicle Motorcycle Accident Results in One Fatality GREELEY, Colo. – On May 21, shortly after 8:00 p.m., the Greeley Police Department, Greeley Fire Department, and EMS units were dispatched to approximately the 9000 block of Highway 34 for a single-vehicle motorcycle accident. First responders arrived on scene shortly after and located the lone 35-year-old male rider with severe injuries; he was pronounced deceased on scene. The Greeley Police Department Traffic Unit was requested due to the seriousness of the accident and will be the lead investigators for this case. Both east and westbound lanes of Highway 34 were closed from approximately 8:20 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. while officers investigated. The Weld County Coroner will release the identity of the rider pending next-of-kin notifications. No additional information will be released today.
