Second Overnight Shooting Leaves One Dead

GREELEY, Colo. – On July 30, at approximately 2:45am, officers from the Greeley Police Department responded to the 3800 block of 7th Street Road following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 21-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Northern Colorado Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased. The suspect, Isaiah Loder, 36, was taken into custody without incident. He will be booked into the Weld County Jail on charges of first degree murder. The name of the victim will be released by the Weld County Coroner's Office pending next-of-kin notification. This investigation is ongoing. This incident is unrelated to the homicide earlier in the evening. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Detective Jonathan Bohl at Jonathan.bohl@greeleypd.com or (970) 350-9572. This was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the community. All arrested individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty. No further details will be released today.
