No evidence of shooter in active shooter call from Franklin Middle School
GREELEY, Colo. – On Tuesday, April 29, at 5:06p.m, the Greeley Police Department received a call reporting an active shooter at Franklin Middle School, 818 35th Avenue.
Police arrived on scene at 5:08p.m. and conducted a thorough search of the interior and exterior of the school. No suspect was located or identified; no injuries were reported. There is no indication that a shooting occurred at the school and there is no ongoing threat to the community.
The all-clear was given at 5:48p.m. Students who were inside the school were released to their parents. This is an ongoing investigation. If you have information about this case, please contact the on-duty watch commander at (970) 350-9605. No further information will be released today.
