One of only two mobile NIBIN vans in the country is currently being utilized in Colorado. Using advanced 3D imaging technology, NIBIN links evidence from violent crime scenes across the state and beyond, closing jurisdictional loopholes that criminals once exploited. Event Details: • Date: Tuesday, August 6, 2024 • Time: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. • Location: Greeley Police Department, 2875 W. 10th St., Greeley, CO • Parking: Media should park in the visitor parking area on the west side of the police department and will be escorted to the NIVIN van in a secured area nearby. These comparisons are used to match casings from different crime scenes, creating a network of linked evidence to track down criminals and prevent further violence.
