19G079715 – Traffic Accident – Fatality Early this morning at 12:38 AM Greeley Police Officers were dispatched to the intersection of 13^th Street and Hwy 85 Bypass on a report of a traffic accident involving a motorcycle.  On arrival officers located a motorcycle down in the street and a male adult that was deceased in the roadway.  At the time of the accident, it appears that heavy rainfall may have been a factor, however, the investigation of the accident continues by the Traffic Unit that was called out on the case.  The name of the motorcyclist has not been released as the coroner is making the appropriate notifications of next of kin.  It appears the motorcycle left the roadway and struck a traffic signal support pole on the northwest corner of the intersection.  The identity of the motorcyclist will be released by the Coroner.
