Teenager Killed in Park Shooting

GREELEY, Colo. –  On August 14, at approximately 8:00pm, officers from the Greeley Police Department responded to Centennial Park in the 2200 block of 23rd Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an 18-year-old male with at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to Northern Colorado Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased. 

Prior to the shooting, witnesses reported a fight between occupants of a red truck and a gray sedan. Following the shooting, the suspect fled in the gray sedan. The suspect is described to be a Caucasian male with curly blond hair.
