Schedule a Ride-Along

Get a Firsthand View of Firefighting in Greeley

Aims and FRCC students must coordinate ride-along requests through their college instructor and should not complete this application.

The Greeley Fire Department Ride-Along Program offers approved participants the opportunity to observe daily fire and EMS operations and better understand the services provided to the community.

Participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally, follow all safety directions given by on-duty personnel, and maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient information at all times.

Eligibility & Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 16 years of age at the time of application; participants under 18 must have parent or guardian permission.
  • Completed application and signed waiver, along with a criminal background check from your primary state of residence.
    • Background check must be conducted in the state where you have primarily resided; if you have lived in multiple states, a national background check is required.

Ride-alongs are scheduled 0700–1700.

Failure to meet these requirements will make you ineligible for a ride-along with the Greeley Fire Department.

Once approved, we will contact applicants to schedule their ride-along and provide additional details, including arrival instructions, dress expectations, and day-of information.
