Description
Kids have always been a big part of the Greeley community, but what did they do without the games and toys we know today? Join us for our family weekends to experience kids' lives in the past! Go to school in the 1920s, make toys out of leftover corn husks and see inside the homes of kids from the past. See what else there is to explore for kids and families as you walk through history!
August 8: Tour the village to see what kids would do for fun before computers were in every home.
August 9: Learn more about how kids helped take care of their homes when they weren’t in school.
As part of Centennial Village Museum's "Open Weekend" series, Fridays will focus on village tours and craft demonstrations, while Saturdays will offer exploration stations and hands-on crafts with museum staff and volunteers. Open Weekends for 2025 are:
