Man Seriously Injured in Highway 34 Crash

GREELEY, Colo. – On Monday, September 28, at approximately 5:25 p.m., Greeley Police officers responded to a serious two-vehicle traffic collision at 95th Avenue and Highway 34.

Preliminary investigation determined an 81-year-old man was driving westbound on Highway 34 in a Ford Escape when a northbound GMC 2500, driven by 32-year-old Santos Garcia-Juarez entered the intersection without yielding and broadsided the Escape.

The driver of the Escape sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

The crash remains under active investigation by the Greeley Police Department Traffic Unit, and potential charges are pending the final investigation outcome.
