The City of Greeley Invites Businesses to Join First Annual Restaurant Week

GREELEY, Colo. — The City of Greeley and community partners are inviting local restaurants to join the first annual, Fork Around & Find Out. The new, two-week event is designed to drive customers to local businesses and showcase Greeley’s growing food scene.

The first-ever event will take place Monday, Oct. 19 through Sunday, Nov. 1. Restaurants, cafés, breweries, food trucks and other food-and-beverage establishments are encouraged to participate.

“A strong, local economy starts with helping our existing businesses succeed. Fork Around & Find Out gives businesses another way to reach customers and grow. At the same time, supporting a strong food and beverage scene helps make Greeley a place where new businesses want to invest,” said Don Threewitt, interim director of Greeley’s Economic Development and Urban Revitalization Department.”

How Businesses Can Participate

Participating businesses will create a special offering priced at $15, $25 or both during the two-week event.  Examples could include:

  • A tapas menu
  • A limited-edition, seasonal dish or beverage
  • A grab-and-go weekly box
  • A special combination or experience created specifically for Restaurant Week

The participation fee is $350 per business and will help fund marketing for the event. Participating businesses will be featured on the Fork Around & Find Out page on VisitGreeley.com. They will also be included in marketing and social media before and during Restaurant Week.

Building a Stronger Local Food Economy

Fork Around & Find Out is part of a larger effort to support Greeley businesses and encourage local spending. The citywide event will promote participating businesses together and help connect them with new and returning customers.
