Culture, Parks and Recreation Receives a $10,000 Scholarship from United Way of Weld County for its Youth Assistance Fund
GREELEY, Colo. — On April 8, United Way of Weld County hosted a scholarship reception. The City of Greeley’s Culture, Parks and Recreation Department (CPRD) accepted a $10,000 donation at the event.
This annual donation helps fund its youth scholarship program. Families who need help covering costs for recreational programming can apply online.
Greeley Recreation is ecstatic to partner with United Way on this valuable program to help the underserved in our community. By offering scholarship dollars to those in need, children under 18 can play the sport they love, try new hobbies, learn to swim and much more!
