Greeley Workshop to Highlight City Services, Neighborhood Resources

GREELEY, Colo. — Residents are invited to learn about neighborhood programs and local resources at the City of Greeley’s City Savvy HOA Workshop. The workshop will be held at the Family FunPlex on Thursday, April 16, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

“Strong neighborhoods start with informed residents,” said Betsy Kellums, city planner. “This workshop connects our community with tools to help strengthen neighborhoods and improve quality of life.”

Hosted by the City’s Community Development Office, the workshop is designed to help neighborhood leaders better understand city services, community resources and tools that support strong, connected neighborhoods. While the workshop is especially helpful for HOA members, all community members are welcome to attend at no cost.

Participants will hear directly from City of Greeley staff on topics including:

  • Current and upcoming city projects
  • Code compliance and neighborhood concerns
  • Water efficiency programs and resources
  • Greeley’s natural areas and trail system
  • Additional services and information that support healthy, thriving neighborhoods

The April 16 workshop is the first in a four-part 2026 HOA Workshop Series. The series provides information on responsibilities, governance, maintenance issues and resident relations.

2026 Workshop Schedule

All workshops will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Family FunPlex, 1501 65th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634. All workshops, except City Savvy, are presented with Altitude Community Law.

  • April 16 – City Savvy: Empowering HOAs for a Thriving Community with Presentations from City of Greeley staff
  • April 30 – 10 Things Associations Are Required to Do, They May Not Be Doing and Red Flags in the Governing Docs
  • September 3 – Associations’ Duties, Rights and Limitations on Managing the Common Elements and Problematic Maintenance Scenarios
  • October 1 – Are You Discriminating? You Might Be, and Not Even Realize It and Tips for Dealing with Angry Owners & Diffusing Explosive Situations
