GREELEY, Colo. — The National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) has awarded the City of Greeley Recreation department with $2,500 to support youth sports. Made possible in part by ESPN, Inc., this grant funds one in-person training through the Positive Coaching Alliance. The stipend facilitates participation by staff and volunteers who work with young people.
Volunteer coaches are invited to attend the training on March 11, 6 p.m., at the Greeley Recreation Center. This grant will support at least 50 volunteers to attend who work with young people.
