City of Greeley Hosts Free Legal Trainings for Homeowners Associations Residents
GREELEY, Colo. — The City of Greeley’s Community Development Office and Altitude Community Law invite the community to the 2026 HOA Workshops. This training series covers a variety of topics, including HOA duties and requirements. The trainings will help HOAs maintain homeowner relationships, avoid liability issues and ensure legal compliance.
The series kicks off on March 5 with presentations by Amanda Ashley and Jenny Shamoon of Altitude Community Law. While the workshop topics are tailored to HOAs, the series is free and available to all community members.
2026 Workshop Schedule:
- March 5 – 10 Things Associations are Required To Do; They May Not Be Doing and Red Flags in the Governing Docs
- April 16 – City Savvy: Empowering HOAs for a Thriving Community with Presentations from City of Greeley Staff
- September 3 – Associations' Duties, Rights and Limitations on Managing the Common Elements and Problematic Maintenance Scenarios
- October 1 – Are You Discriminating? You Might Be, And Not Even Realize It and Tips for Dealing with Angry Owners & Diffusing Explosive Situations
The workshops will be at the Family FunPlex, 1501 65th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Light refreshments will be available for participants.
