GREELEY, Colo. — The Greeley City Council recently appointed six community members to serve on city boards and commissions. Their unique perspectives help inform the City Council's decisions, which in turn impact the community. Congratulations to the following community members:

  • Barry Eastman – Citizen Budget Advisory Committee
  • John Shull – Citizen Budget Advisory Committee
  • Nicole Riner – Citizen Budget Advisory Committee
  • Nicole Eitmann – Greeley Urban Renewal Authority
  • Ricardo Perez – Human Relations Commission
  • Tiffany Simmons – Human Relations Commission

The City of Greeley encourages community participation on its boards and commissions. Joining is a great way to get involved in the Greeley community. Members play a key role in guiding the city's betterment by providing valuable feedback to Greeley's elected officials.

The city invites all interested citizens to apply for vacancies on boards and commissions. Available seats include:

  • Commission on Disabilities – one seat.
    • Requires experience as a local employer or community member at large.
  • Golf Course Advisory Board – two seats.
  • Human Relations Commission – one seat.
  • Island Grove Advisory Board – two seats.
  • Museum Board – one seat.
  • Parks and Recreation Advisory Board – one seat.
  • Stormwater Board – one seat.
