City of Greeley Observes Thanksgiving Holiday
GREELEY, Colo. — City of Greeley administration buildings will be closed Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28, in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Emergency services, including police and fire, will operate as usual.
Thursday, November 27 (Thanksgiving Day)
The City of Greeley administrative offices and Greeley Recreation facilities will close on Thanksgiving. Greeley-Evans Transit service, Poudre Express and paratransit rides will not be available that day.
Friday, November 28
The following facilities will remain closed:
- Administrative offices
- Rodarte Community Center, 920 A Street
- Greeley History Museum, 714 8th Street
The following facilities will open with altered hours of operation:
- Greeley Family FunPlex, 1501 65th Avenue, 5 a.m. – 8 p.m. (pool hours, noon-6 p.m.)
- Greeley Recreation Center, 651 10th Avenue, 5 a.m.- 8 p.m. (pool hours, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.)
- Greeley Ice Haus, 900 8th Avenue, 900 8th Avenue, 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Skate Your Turkey Off from noon-5 p.m. Admission $10 (includes skate rental).
- Greeley Active Adult Center, 1010 6th Street, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The following facilities will resume normal operations and hours on November 29:
- Greeley History Museum, 714 8th Street, will be open on Saturday, November 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Greeley-Evans Transit and the Poudre Express, 101 11th Avenue
- Union Colony Civic Center, 701 10th Avenue
- Boomerang Links Golf Course, 7309 West 4th Street (weather permitting)
- Highland Hills Golf Course, 2200 Clubhouse Drive (weather permitting)
Greeley-Evans Transit (GET) and Poudre Express Bus Routes will maintain their regular schedules.
