Keys to a New Life: Joeys Graduation from Rapid Rehousing

On July 31, 2025, Joey graduated from the City of Greeley Rapid Rehousing Program, marking a major milestone in his recovery and housing journey.

After entering treatment for substance use in February 2024, he joined the Rapid Rehousing program that summer. With ongoing support through case management, housing services, and coordinated care, he:

Continues to maintain long-term sobriety
Gained and advanced in employment
Built a budget and took over full rent

By the time of his graduation, Joey had achieved stable housing, increased income, and sustained recovery—the core goals of the Rapid Rehousing Program.

Joey’s story is just one example of the broader impact of the Homeless Solutions Rapid Rehousing program, which has helped 23 individuals exit to a housed destination. Among them:

15 received Life Skills Coaching and developed a Housing Stability Plan
9 received Budget and Financial Planning support
3 participated in Job Skills Training

These outcomes reflect the program’s commitment to using a housing-focused approach with supportive services to create lasting, positive change.
