Celebrate Centennial Village Museum’s 50th anniversary with free themed weekends all summer long. Each Saturday and Sunday features hands‑on activities, demonstrations and opportunities to explore Greeley’s history in fun and interactive ways. From food and fashion to culture, milestones and behind‑the‑scenes museum experiences, there’s always something new to discover.

Here's what's happening each weekend!
May 23–24: Discover Cultures of Weld County – Decorations and Delicious Dishes
• Sat, May 23: Village tours and craft demonstrations highlighting cultural traditions represented in Centennial Village.
• Sun, May 24: Create colorful tissue‑paper flowers and explore cultural stories throughout the village.

May 30–31: Eating Up the Past – Food Basics
• Sat, May 30: Learn about early Greeley food processing and historic cooking techniques through guided tours.
• Sun, May 31: Join staff and volunteers for hands‑on butter churning and corn grinding demonstrations.

June 6–7: Faded Fashions – Creating Fabric
• Sat, June 6: Enjoy tours with a costumed historian exploring historic fashions and textiles.
• Sun, June 7: Try wool carding and learn how wool is transformed from sheep to clothing.

June 13–14: Celebrating Milestones – 50 Years of Centennial Village

June 20–21: Peek Behind the Curtain – Building the Past

July 4–5: Celebrating Milestones – 250 Years of the United States

July 11–12: Faded Fashions – Daily Life

July 18–19: Peek Behind the Curtain – Museums and Memory

July 25–26: Eating Up the Past – Farm to Table
