Transportation Planning
Through the Greeley on the Go 2045 Transportation Master Plan, Greeley is building a transportation system that is safe, connected, and accessible for everyone. We plan with the future in mind—anticipating innovations, shifts in travel behavior, and new technologies. Transportation planning focuses on improving system efficiency, supporting sustainable growth, and encouraging a variety of travel options like walking, biking, transit, and driving. It’s all about creating a flexible, multimodal network that meets the diverse needs of our growing community.

Planning for Multiple Forms of Transportation
Pedestrian Safety, Bicycling, e-bikes and scooters, and public transit are all top of mind when planning the future of Greeley’s transportation options.
The updated City of Greeley Transportation Plan has been completed and approved by City Council in 2023. In 2025, City Council adopted a Vision Zero Action Plan to create a framework for future transportation projects that focuses on building a safer system.
