Lone Valley School Day Camp Registration Open
Registration is open for Lone Valley School Day Camp, set for July 11-13 at Centennial Village Museum. The camp offers kids an opportunity to experience school life as it was 100 years ago. School starts at 9 a.m. and ends at noon each day, and is recommended for grades 2-4, but open to grades 1-5.
Campers will trade 21st-century tech for chalk and slates as they step back in time and into a one-room schoolhouse. Activities will include crafts, handwriting lessons, tackling chores, and playground fun. Kids can also watch a blacksmith at work and explore fiber arts. The three-day camp wraps up with a picnic lunch where parents can see how much their campers have learned.
Registration is $60 per child. Friends of Greeley Museums Youth members receive a 25% discount. Register online or go to Greeleymuseums.com for more information.
