Large Turnout for Inaugural McDonald Toyota Pickleball Tournament

Over 20 teams competed in the first McDonald Toyota Pickleball Tournament hosted by Greeley Recreation on September 23 at Sherwood Park.

Tournament Division Results

Northern Colorado doubles teams took the top slots, winning in the silver and gold divisions of the tournament for ages 16 and over, and taking home $200 in cash prizes.

Gold Division Winners – Team Smash (3.5, 4.0 & 4.5 Rated Players) from Boulder and Fort Collins
Silver Division Winners – I Got A Pickle (2.0, 2.5 & 3.0 Rated Players) from Greeley

Pickleball Opportunities with Greeley Recreation

The pickleball tournament will be an annual event. Start perfecting your game by playing in summer or fall pickleball leagues or drop in at the Greeley Recreation Center to play year-round.
