Greeley City Council Fills Key Board Seats and Invites Applications for Open Positions

GREELEY, Colo. — The Greeley City Council is proud to announce the following Board & Commissions appointments:

  • Jonathan T. Mowery – Citizen Budget Advisory Committee
  • Bethany Kleiber – Parks and Recreation Advisory Board
  • Laney Jasso – Human Relations Commission
  • Alexanre L. Reyes – Youth Commission
  • Ashlyn B. Craig – Youth Commission
  • Alexandria G. Tacoronte – Youth Commission
  • Phaedra J. Gonzalez – Youth Commission
  • Sofia X. Vasquez – Youth Commission
  • Omar Munoz – Museum Board

Also, the following Boards and Commissions have vacancies for those interested in providing valuable insight and feedback to Greeley’s local elected officials:

  • Citizen Transportation Advisory Board – 1 seat available now; 2 seats available in November.
  • Commission on Disabilities – 4 seats available now.
  • Construction Trades Advisory & Appeals Board – 5 seats available.
    • 2 of these seats require a building/construction background.
    • 1 seat will require an electrical background.
  • Golf Course Advisory Board – 1 seat available now.
  • Greeley Art Commission – 3 seats available now.
  • Greeley Urban Renewal Authority – 1 seat available in November.
  • Historic Preservation Commission – 1 seat available now.
    • Seat will require a historian background.
  • Housing for All Advisory Board – 9 seats available.
    • 2 of these seats will require affordable housing experience.
    • 2 of these seats will require experience with homelessness issues.
    • 2 of these seats will require a real estate/financing background.
    • 1 seat will require a background from a funding organization.
    • 1 seat will require a background from a best practice organization.
  • Human Relations Commission – 2 seats available.
  • Judicial Review Board – 2 seats available now.
    • 1 seat will require a business background.
  • Parks and Recreation Advisory Board – 2 seats available now.
  • Stormwater Board – 1 seat available now.
  • Youth Commission – 2 adult advisor positions available.
