Potato Day returns to Centennial Village Museum to wrap up the 2022 summer season from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 at 1475 A Street. This popular community event pays tribute to Greeley’s agricultural heritage and is the City of Greeley Museums’ biggest fundraising event of the year.

Tickets cost $7 per person and include a baked potato with all the fixings. Admission is free for all Friends of the Greeley Museums members.

Online tickets available at www.eventbrite.com/e/393830326107.

Baked Potatoes, Live Entertainment, and More

Potato Day offers a variety of activities, including living history demonstrations—like blacksmithing—an antique tractor display, a cake walk, and continuous live entertainment. The lineup includes an afternoon performance from the Buffalo Soldiers and the following acts:

  • Rusty 44
  • Cluster Folk
  • Michael Estes Dixon
  • Kiwanis Kream of the Krop Band
  • Dustin Scott

Standard seasonal offerings, including resident animals, historical games, and building tours, will be available.

Friends of the Greeley Museums Fundraiser

Potato Day is a major fundraiser of the Friends of the Greeley Museums, a non-profit organization formed in support of the City of Greeley Museums. Since 1987, the group has raised and donated nearly $500,000 for educational programs and preservation projects.
