Alleged Drunk Driver Crashes into University High School
GREELEY, Colo. — On Thursday, January 22, at approximately 8:55p.m., Greeley Police officers responded to reports of a vehicle that crashed into University High School at 6525 18th Street.
An alleged drunk driver drove through the front doors of the school at 6525 18th Street, down a corridor, and crashed at the end of the hallway.
There were no injuries to any bystanders and all school activities were reported to have been over for the evening. School officials determined the school to be structurally sound and classes resumed as normal for Friday.
The driver, Eduardo Perez, 28, suffered minor injuries and was taken into custody without incident after being evaluated by medical personal.
Perez’ charges include:
Misdemeanor reckless driving
Misdemeanor driving a vehicle with a revoked license
Felony driving a vehicle while under the influence (4th offense)
Two felony counts of criminal mischief
Misdemeanor interference with staff, faculty or students
Multiple misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment.
This was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the school or the community.

This is an ongoing investigation, and all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty. No further details will be released today.
