Greeley Police Arrest Child Sex Offender

GREELEY, Colo. – On Tuesday, April 14, detectives with the Greeley Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit arrested Marc Hoshor, 46, a registered child sex offender, following an investigation into prohibited online activity.

The investigation began after the Greeley Police Department received multiple Cybertips regarding Hoshor’s behavior online. Detectives completed a thorough investigation and compiled significant evidence against Hoshor. Under Colorado law, individuals registered as child sex offenders are strictly required to report all online accounts and identifiers capable of communicating with other users.

Greeley Police detectives coordinated closely with Colorado Adult Parole to locate Hoshor and he was taken into custody without incident. He is being charged with four felony counts of failure to register as a sex offender.

The Greeley Police Department remains committed to monitoring online platforms to ensure the safety of our community’s youth. We encourage the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious online activity involving known offenders.
