10th Street Expected to Reopen Sunday Ahead of Holiday Shopping Season
GREELEY, Colo. —Good news for downtown Greeley businesses and shoppers: 10th Street is expected to reopen Sunday, ahead of the busy holiday shopping season.
The City worked closely with Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction to bring in more crews and work weekends to reopen 10th Street as quickly and safely as possible.
"Our downtown businesses are a big part of what makes Greeley special, and we want to see them thrive this holiday season," said Adam Prior, deputy director and chief utilities engineer for the City of Greeley. "Reopening 10th Street is a major step forward, and crews continue to make great progress across downtown. These improvements are an important investment in the future of our community."
The reopening of 10th Street is just one of several major steps forward for the Downtown Infrastructure Improvements Project. Crews continue to install new water and sewer pipes and improve drainage throughout downtown.
