City of Greeley Seeks Community Input for Updated Housing Needs Assessment

GREELEY, Colo. — The City of Greeley wants residents to help shape the future of City housing. The public is invited to attend an upcoming "At Home in Greeley" open house or take the online survey. Community input will help guide the development of the City’s Housing Action Plan.

The "At Home in Greeley" project evaluates Greeley's current and future housing needs. Results will inform strategies to expand housing, improve affordability, and support all residents. Feedback will help determine the types, sizes, and costs of housing needed over the next five to 10 years.  

Residents can attend one of two public open houses to learn more about the project. Attendees can share their experiences and provide input on housing priorities. Those unable to attend can also take the online survey available on the project website.

  • August 25: 5:30 – 7:30 PM

  • August 26: 5:30 – 7:30 PM
    • Family FunPlex (1501 65th Avenue)

"As Greeley continues to grow, it's important we understand how needs are changing," said Kaileen Whaley, the City’s Housing Incentive Manager. "Community input helps develop practical solutions that expand housing choices. Resident feedback helps ensure Greeley remains a place where people of all incomes and backgrounds can thrive."  

The City of Greeley is partnering with Interval, LLC, to complete the assessment and Housing Action Plan. The project is funded in part through a grant from the Colorado Department of Local Affairs.
