City Council Appoints Eight New Board Members and Looks to Fill Nine More Vacancies

GREELEY, Colo.—The Greeley City Council is proud to announce the following Board & Commissions appointments:
- Sonya Oster – Citizen Budget Advisory Committee
- Ib Meyer – Human Relations Commission
- Dr. Carmody Lee – Museum Board
- Nancy Masimer – Museum Board
- Gii Astorga – Union Colony Civic Center Advisory Board
- Daniela Hernandez – Union Colony Civic Center Advisory Board
- Marielle Waller – Union Colony Civic Center Advisory Board
- Maria Duran – Youth Commission
Also, the following Boards and Commissions have vacancies for those interested in providing valuable insight and feedback to Greeley’s local elected officials:
- Commission on Disabilities - 1 seat available
- This seat will require a disability or parent/guardian background
- Construction Trades Advisory and Appeals Board - 1 seat available
- This seat will require a building background
- Housing for All Advisory Board - 2 seats available
- 1 seat will require a real estate or financing background
- 1 seat will require an experienced homelessness background
- Judicial Review Board - 2 seats available
- 1 of these seats will require a licensed Attorney background
- 1 of these seats will require a business background
- Planning Commission - 1 seat available
- Union Colony Civic Center Advisory Board - 1 vacancy
- Youth Commission - 1 seat available
