Greeley-Evans Transit Improving Routes and Schedules
June 23, 2026
GREELEY, Colo. — Greeley-Evans Transit is making bus routes easier to use starting August 20, 2026. The goal is simpler routes, on-time buses, and better service in busy areas. These updates follow the City's transit plan approved in March 2025.
What's Changing
Route 1
- Will take a more direct path along 10th Street — fewer loops means fewer delays.
- Bus stops will be updated to be safer for walkers.
- A new transfer stop will open at 35th Avenue near Greeley West. (A transfer stop is where you can switch from one bus to another.)
Route 3
- Some stops will move from 29th Street to 27th and 28th Streets (between 23rd and 35th Avenues).
- The new route will adjust where most riders actually travel and will help the bus stay on schedule, especially with road construction coming to the 35th Avenue area.
Routes 5 & 6 — Combining into one Route 5
- Routes 5 and 6 will merge into a single Route 5 that connects through the Downtown Transit Center, making transfers easier.
- Route 6 will now turn around at M Street instead of O Street, saving travel time.
All Routes
Some bus stop locations will change to be safer and easier to reach. See the full list at greeleyco.gov/transit.
