GREELEY, Colo. — In observance of Juneteenth, City of Greeley administrative buildings and municipal courts will close on Friday, June 19. They will reopen on Monday, June 22.

Emergency services, including fire and police, will operate as usual.  

City facilities remaining open include:  

  • Greeley Active Adult Center, 1010 6th Street
  • Rodarte Community Center, 920 A Street
  • Family FunPlex, 1501 65th Avenue
  • Greeley Recreation Center, 651 10th Avenue  
  • Greeley Ice Haus, 900 8th Avenue  
  • Greeley-Evans Transit and the Poudre Express, 101 11th Avenue  
  • Greeley History Museum, 714 8th Street
  • Centennial Village Museum, 1475 A Street
  • Highland Hills Golf Course, 2200 Clubhouse Drive
  • Boomerang Links Golf Course, 7309 West 4th Street
  • Centennial Pool, 2315 Reservoir Road
  • Discovery Bay Waterpark, 715 E 24th Street
  • Island Grove Splash Park, 302 N 14th Avenue
  • Sunrise Splash Park, 325 12th Street

City facilities that are closed include:

  • Greeley City Hall and Utility Billing, 1200 11th Avenue
  • City Center North, City Center South and Municipal Court, 1001 11th Avenue
  • Union Colony Civic Center, 701 10th Avenue (open for event hours only)

Juneteenth Celebrations in Greeley:  

  • Friday, June 19: The celebration kicks off with Downtown Greeley and UNC’s Marcus Garvey Cultural Center joining forces at Friday Fest from 6-10 p.m. on the 9th Street Plaza. Enjoy live music by Tony Exum Jr., free caricatures and the High Plains Library District’s book truck. The evening will also include a Pride Month after-party at the Moxi Theater.
  • Saturday, June 20: The celebration continues from noon to 7 p.m. at Everett Acres, 6015 W. 4th Street. The event brings the community together for a family-friendly day of food, vendors, live music and cultural activities honoring history, culture and connection.
