GREELEY, Colo. — The summer season for City of Greeley outdoor pools and splash parks begins Saturday, May 23 through Labor Day, Monday, September 7.

Greeley residents and visitors can kick off summer fun at two outdoor pools and two splash parks.

  • Centennial Pool, 2315 Reservoir Road
  • Discovery Bay Waterpark, 715 E. 24th Street
  • Island Grove Splash Park, 302 N. 14th Avenue
  • Sunrise Splash Park, 325 12th Street

Centennial Pool

Experience a wild ride on the 243-foot slide, take a dip in the lap pool, cool off in the splash pad and practice your technique at the diving well. Centrally located in Greeley, this pool sits next to Centennial Park, which offers a skate park, tennis courts and a baseball field, a great place to play.

  • Open swim is held Monday through Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 6 p.m.
  • Family Nights are on Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m.

Discovery Bay Waterpark 

This waterpark has a unique dinosaur theme, complete with a lazy river, splash pad, zero-depth area for little ones, an activity pool and a 243-foot slide. This site is adjacent to a dog park, Balsam Park, and Campo Esperanza Natural Areas just east of the waterpark at 2400 E. Balsam Avenue, with plenty of room to explore.

  • Open swim is Monday through Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Family Nights are on Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m.

Admission to the pools is $7 for adults, $6 for youth and seniors, and $3 for children four and under. Remember, children five and under must be accompanied in the pool by a paying adult.

Splash parks are open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily and are free.
