Description
Join the City of Greeley, Downtown Development Authority and University of Northern Colorado to celebrate the completion of the 16th Street Enhancement Project and kick off the first Old Campus Bear Bash! The celebration begins with UNC’s marching band and cheer team, followed by brief remarks and an official ribbon cutting. Then, stick around for the Bear Bash. Listen to live music, explore offerings at local businesses and watch artists at work during the WeldWalls Mural Festival.
The 16th Street improvements create a safer, more welcoming connection between downtown Greeley and UNC with wider sidewalks, new landscaping and lighting, improved parking, and safer ways to walk and bike. Now, we can officially celebrate that.
Date: Friday, September 18
Time: 4-8 p.m.
Location: Lawn outside UNC’s Skinner Music Library
Free and open to the public.
